Garrett
Cattle Company specializes in producing high quality F1 (Brahman X
Angus) females and bulls. We have both open and bred females - usually
18 months to coming two year olds. On the Dam side (Brahmans) we are
heavily influenced by JD Hudgins sires - JDH Navasota Manso f55/1,
JDH Mr. Rocket Manso f514, and JDH Mr. Manso f698/9. On the sire side
of our F1 (Angus) our sires are Hoff Midwest SC 992 (out of Heartland
SC456), and with newest acquisitions of Hoff First Edition, Hoff Weightlifter,
Hoff Bandolier, Hoff Difference, and Hoff Investor (all from South
Dakota). We also are using DRMCTR Bando 9B23 (out of Tehama Bando
155) Dreamcatcher Ranch, San Marcos, TX, and Lukens Traveler 9634,
Lukens Rito 913, and Lukens Traveler 0106 from Kansas.
Our
Golden Certified F1's are unsurpassed in fertility, adaptability,
productivity, and efficiency. We use our best Brahman females mated
to the best Angus Bulls we can buy - high quality is our goal both
for the females we sell and the bulls too. We gather our cattle
horseback and sort and work them in the pens with horses and on
foot. When we wean our calves, we spend a lot of time with the calves
and continue to work with them to keep them gentle. These cattle
would be an asset to anyone's herd.
